September  2009.   It was about time for a new cockpit-test.  Feedbacks from a  real life Warbirdpilot. See below. (Photos by Michael Weber )

The perfect Warbird simulation:

Warbird pilot Michael Weber from Switzerland has recently testflown
the simulators from Schreiner Schmid. My fazit: This simulator is
really fantastic and comes very close to the real airplane. All the
essential problems of a warbird the pilot feels on the controls. You
have to add gently the gas and use the correct settings to prevent a
groundloop due to slips-stream, P-factor and tourque. All the controls
work very nicely and smoothly so a realistic fighter feeling comes up.
The detailed cockpit let forget the pilot that it is just a simulator.
Me as a pilot on P-51, T-6, B-25, T-28 looking forward to see many
other new cockpits coming out of Hans Schmid factory.

Always happy landings.

Michael Weber

April  2009 . Another project we have started a few months ago : KG 20 N for airplanes /jets & helicopter . A trigger in metal,  highquality  2 x  4way switches,  9 pushbuttons   (+ 5 in level 2  ) Halleffect-sensors  ( production ca. june 2009)  . If the stick find a market, we  like to  release  a  version  for left-handed persons as well.

October, 29th. 2006,   A cockpit  was "examined"  by a experienced pilot,  Wolfram Krueger : PPL(A) Flightinstructor ( FI ) .   Flew already more than  10 different aircrafts  ,   4.800 hours  flying time, 12.250 landings.

First Impression: The cockpit is suitable and  ergonomically correct. There is enough space left and right for typical  simulator pilot equipments  like throttle, sidestick ,  switches etc.  The seat position is very realistic.  Tunnels for cable and harness are well placed to avoid the famous " Kabelsalat".

Outside view : The fuselage  has an aluminium  layer and looks like a real aircraft skin. The construction is very strong  and solid , a great marksmanship . Just one word  =  nice.    Wolfram Krueger
